How often should I have my teeth professionally cleaned?
With a healthy mouth, usually every 6 months. With braces, periodontitis, pregnancy or diabetes we advise more frequent visits, usually every 3 to 4 months.
Is teeth cleaning with EMS Airflow painful?
EMS Airflow (Guided Biofilm Therapy) is nearly pain-free. With water, air and fine powder we remove plaque and stains caused by coffee, tea or smoking.
What helps against bleeding gums or bad breath?
Plaque and tartar are often the cause. A professional cleaning and brushing instruction usually help quickly. If the bleeding continues, we check whether periodontitis is involved.
Do you also treat children and people with braces?
Yes. We offer children's dental care with or without braces, including fixed braces, Invisalign, Spark and fixed retainers.
Is the dental hygienist covered by insurance?
For adults, the treatment is often largely reimbursed by supplementary dental insurance. Under 18, dental care is covered by basic health insurance. We submit the invoice directly to your health insurer if you have supplementary cover.
